"I like rapping in kasi taal because I'm from the hood, and my fans are mostly in the hood, so it gives my music power to touch my fans. I'm on a process of building a strong fanbase, that's why I rap in a language they understand best," said De Shredder.

De Shredder has made a name for himself by working with some of the best artists in the country. He is one of the Pretoria artists who managed to unlock their creative powers, finding his way into thousands of hearts through hip-hop music. He has previously worked with StanB, Wizibeatz, Leon Lee, Broskies Clan, Boypeza, Katz Inova and many more. His song "Madiba" with Wizibeatz and Stan B got playlisted on Metro FM.

He is currently pushing a song called "Pusha Spane", which dropped in July 2019. The song is doing good in the hood and it has received a great response from the public.
