Establishing a connection with his music, Ayanda Mkhwanazi, mostly known as Aygee Montero — an upcoming creative artist from Sheepmore, in Mpumalanga. A very perfect example of 'dreams delayed are not dreams denied', Aygee has found a way to juggle his music and his studies. He kept dreaming even when success in the music industry seemed unachievable to the Youth in his area. Hip Hop was the driving force of that dream, drawing inspiration from music legends such as Puff Daddy and Skwatta Kamp. Aygee Montero has won a number of competitions in Mpumalanga, with his former music group.

In 2017, he moved to Joburg as he got admission to University of Johannesburg. In the same year, he signed under Godforth Records which propelled him into the forefront, performing alongside the likes of Teargas, Ifani, L-Tido, Reason, just to name a few. Aygee has recently dropped a mind-blowing track entitled The Dough. The song dropped on the 12th of August 2019 and it features Newman and Megabeats. This is the song that is gaining him popularity in Mpumalanga, as well as a status amongst students in Johannesburg. With no big promo or radio plays yet Aygee stays climbing ladders — his song caught people by surprise — as he paves the way to the top, he's also inspiring the kids from his area to dream big and to know that it is possible.
