Invading the music scene with a different force, Thapelo Lathane, mostly known as Yung Pelo — an upcoming versatile artist and producer from Polokwane, Limpopo. Yung Pelo tapped in the industry with a different vibe, getting people moved with his music, a mixture of hip-hop, rap and trap soul. As a 015 representative, Yung Pelo's music is yet the most talked about in the streets of Polokwane. With no promotion or radio plays yet the upcoming artist managed to create a huge traffic in the streets of PLK, performing in almost every show in the city. Yung Pelo has shared stages with artists such as Dj Ganyani, Uhuru, Riky Rick, King Monada, Makhadzi, Sho Madjozi, Mashabela and many more mainstream artists. He recently had an interview on Munghana lonene, talking about his music journey and how it all started. Yung Pelo started music in mid 2017 and his first single was entitled 'Mary Jane' featuring Polar Bear and Mr Saint. The song caught everyone by surprise — the vibe got people moving, everytime he performed it, people would go crazy.

In a period of 2 years, Yung Pelo dropped about 5 amazing Mixtapes, and he didn't only stay creatively vital, but shocking as well.

With the way his latest project '2K19' is sounding, Yung Pelo is becoming a force to be reckoned with, he definitely tapped in with a strong force. "This project inspires and uplifts upcoming creatives with the same motives and dreams as me, my sound is different and versatile, each song on the tape is uniquely different," - Yung Pelo.
2K19  consists of 9 songs --- featuring the likes of Polar Bear, Baby boy, Xane, Fizzy Pop, E.T and Mac Holly, songs produced by Yung Pelo. He truly took the music scene by storm with this project, it's so impressive how he displayed his talent on it, this is one of the most creative projects we have heard this year.
