Introducing Black Taydo - Creativity meets Humour

On today's post, creativity meets humour --- we introduce to you Thato Mashabela mostly known as 'Black Taydo' --- A young aspiring videographer and skit maker from Mamelodi, Pretoria.
The young creative started making skits late 2016, around November/December and his first video to get recognized was entitled "When Pitori niggas see girls passing by". In the video Black Taydo portrays the character of a Pretoria guy, mimicking the way a Pretoria guy reacts when he sees girls pass by his house. The video is very creative, It starts as if the guy is going to say something when he sees the girls, just as he's about to say something, a popular song was inserted to match his dialogue and his reaction.

After that video, his videos started getting recognition, getting shared by the most influential people on social media and mainstream artists, including the likes of Team Mosha, Nelisiwe Mwase, and a few local radio stations. Black Taydo's videos are mostly a mixture of portraying creativity and creating humour. He mention that he's too deep into film and by creating these videos, more opportunities fall on him --- "I've always wanted to be in the film industry, by making these short comedy videos, I'm trying to open doors for myself and also to keep myself close to what i love". The radio stations that recognized his videos are Tshwane FM, Mams FM and Deep Groove Radio which all invited him for a guest interview. The young creative is putting much work on his hustle, apart from making people laugh with skits, Black Taydo has won an award for 'Best Videography' at MLB Awards and he has also been selling T-shirts and Caps representing his brand.

His work is starting to get known, his creative skills are improving, his YouTube channel got verified --- Early 2018 Black Taydo got invited to a show at Capital Live Radio (a radio stations that influences the current trends and information) to come and share his story. He also got featured on a new television show called "Youth Inspiration talk show" by Eddination, coming soon. Black Taydo's latest project is Baby Mama Drama (a web series) which has only played 2 episodes. At the same time he's working on another project with Ciah Hlope and Lost Cam Picture, which is entitled The Pain In Beauty (a web series about drugs, depression and suicide awareness).
