South African hip-hop artist Lil Trapzy is putting his personal experiences and observations into music with his latest single, “To The World,” released on 30 July 2026 through TRF Records.

The track explores themes that resonate deeply with young people, including youth struggles, bad habits, love and the determination to chase your dreams regardless of where you come from. Rather than simply focusing on the challenges, “To The World” carries a message of perseverance for anyone fighting to be heard and determined to make it out.

Lil Trapzy’s connection to storytelling can be traced back to his high-school years at Willowmead in Lenasia South, where he first began making music. Inspired by the legendary 2Pac, he developed a passion for using hip-hop to tell stories drawn from real life and the experiences of young people around him.

Based in Gauteng, Lil Trapzy is building his career as an independent artist while steadily growing an organic audience. Over the past 28 days, his platforms have recorded more than 2,000% growth in engagement, reaching 171 followers organically. With much of his audience between 18 and 24 years old, his focus on authentic stories continues to connect with listeners who see parts of their own lives reflected in his music.
