Pretoria-based musician born in Sekhukhune, Limpopo — Kopano Lebotsa (22), also known as 2K Mfana Kasi — is truly blessed on the beat, flowing effortlessly with emphasis on how African heritage has stamped his music with a distinct sound. Inspired by the likes of Emtee, Cassper Nyovest, JR, MA_ E, Okmalumkoolkat and many more, Mfana Kasi started rapping at age 15 with hopes of achieving global stardom. He began writing down lyrics, bars, choruses & hooks that have made him stand out from the clutter.

In 2020, 2K Mfana Kasi dropped his debut single titled 'Never Give Up' featuring Treazy Lee, this song was well received. He was teasing the people of (SGANDI) Winterveldt with what to expect in the coming years, this song was well composed with different vibes which propelled him to gain a few hundreds of fans. 2K is unfazed by the battles it takes to reach the top, moving steadily towards his dreams without complicating his art.

He dropped another single track titled MILLION in 2022 and the streetz went crazy, the people couldn't get enough of it, playing it on repeat like an anthem. The track got him recognition from one of the biggest Djs in the game - DJ Enkay, who has worked closely with EMTEE Records. 2K Mfana Kasi's music is very diverse, his sound is a mixture of English and Spitori (a language spoken in the streets of Pretoria). His debut Ep entitled Khutso is set to drop on all digital platforms, he's currently working with producers; Mosankie Drippy Locco, TK & many more, to craft together a new sound that stands the test of time. The project is a tribute to his brother named Khutso that has provided so much words of encouragement over the course of his career.
