Eastern Cape rapper with a distinctive sound — Frank N.ndzeleni — is on a mission to carve himself some space in the South African Hiphop Scene.
Born Sikho Ndunyana aka Frank N has been doing music from a young age, but as a hobby, only until 2019 that's when he started taking his craft more seriously, which helped him attract massive attention to his music. He found the balance that shadows his sound to a broader appeal and from then he started drawing influence from Johannesburg emcees, which he believes gave his sound something fresh compared to the more cultured approach of Cape Town Rappers.
Frank N.ndzeleni never fails to paint Vivid pictures with his words. A lyrical genius who'll grab more of your attention the deeper he raps, he makes it feel like a journey of great vibes. Subdued just dropped on the 8th of June 2023, but the public's reception has been astonishing. This song is filled with punchy, hard & well articulated inner thoughts that moves listeners, both artists outdid themselves on this one. The visuals were shot on the streets of Cape Town CBD at night by well known director street, Easy Visualz.
Frank has been in the studio cooking up some great new music for his lovers. He has an EP titled ' Old Monument Valley ' which is scheduled to drop later this year — There's no doubt Frank is coming in with that smoke, collaborations from emcees based in both Johannesburg & Cape Town are in the works. This EP will definitely shake up the game, fusing vibes from both cities to create a distinct sound.
