Rapture costums is a creative brand inventing truly unique, wearable work of art. Founded by - Xolane Ntuli known as Dess - an imaginative artist from Newcastle, Kwazulu-natal who turned his passion into a business in 2019, after deciding to take the enterpreneurship path.

They gained prominence around Long Homes suburb with their amazingly fun & colorful work. Applying an abstract, futuristic approach to their art, paying so much attention to details. Creative Direction is overseen by Dess who is a true artistic entrepreneur that broke so many boundaries with his paintings, bringing life into anything he painted on. "I really respect my art, i strive to deliver the best in every drawing that is worked upon because we believe, the value is in the art. You can't put a price on it, that's why we always make sure our clients are intrigued by their investment."- He said 

Each Rapture Customs apparel is hand painted canvas that is cut, styled, painted & embellished to become an intricate work of art. Their apparels are individually collected from local markets to vintage drift/thrift shops, with a great sense of customer's choice and carefully selected pieces, then the one of a kind rapture by an artist's hand. Every Rapture Customs garment or apparel undergoes a rigorous product process that ensures it can never be duplicated once it has been revived. Xolane places special emphasis on little details to help bring his art to life. It has both a nod to the future and portrays references to past art historical movements such as pop and surrealism scene in the 90s & 00s. His ambitious, cartoon-lik e installations & painting has helped become a favorite amongst all age groups. 

Their emails have been buzzing for orders from all around South Africa, alongside a couple of orders from countries like Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and many more.
