Introducing a South African model going to showcase her talent in the USA - Meagan Du Plooy from King William’s Town, Eastern Cape is an example of a dream chaser who is dedicated to her passion & works hard every day to achieve her long term goal of becoming a world renowned model.

After her matriculation from Kingsridge High School in King William’s Town. She made a bold move to go further her studies & pursue her dreams in Pretoria, hitting the ground running by joining a modeling school - Figures - to brush up on her skills."My story is a testament to what dedication and strong will power can achieve. I believe that I am an inspiration to all who get the chance to work with me and on top of that I always maintain a certain level of humanity and poise about myself that puts everyone at ease." - Meagan 

Meagan auditioned at the IMTA for the first time in 2014, going on a rollercoaster journey that lead her to the finals. Scoring herself an invite to America to represent South Africa, but was unable to go due to the lack of funds. She sees obstacles as mere challenges to build the mindset to take her abilities to the highest level. She also wants to explore, learn about different cultures, meet people from across the globe, help uplift and empower young girls through communicating ideas, feelings & life lessons. 

Meagan recently had another opportunity to showcase her talent at the IATS in the presence of distinguished judges like Rhavynn Drummer, Joey Hunter, Blaze Johnson & Nate Butler. She then received a callback from these panelists to go to the United states of America to represent South Africa at the world’s largest talent convention.

"I would love to attend this prestigious convention in America as it will grant me an opportunity to showcase my talent in front of more than 250 industry professionals. We will be attending a lot of workshops where we will be learning more about the industry." She said 

The stunning performer is prepared to fly the country's flag high when she gets to New York, and absolutely nothing can stop her from shining. When she returns back from America, She hopes to receive callbacks that will launch her international career journey. Meagan would also really love to help kids who wish to pursue acting and modeling.
