Introducing the kwaito duo that's breathing new life to the genre — Tycoo SA — The brothers, Thabang Pebane Aka "Tonono” and Thato Pebane Aka “M.T.Pee” are from bushbuckbridge, in Mpumalanga. They developed a passion for music at a tender age before locating a deeper meaning in the influential genre “KWAITO” in 2005. Since then, they’ve made a stance. Utilizing their music as a tool of encouragement and solace for people going through socio-economic problems that revolve around Poverty, Crime and HIV/AIDs. Their music has been a pillar of healing for people, telling stories that cuts deep across the soul is what they achieve with every song they put out. They pride themselves of representing their community in the best way they can, by being role models to the youth around them.

Tycoo placed their fate into their own hands and they haven’t looked back since. “we learn from our mistakes daily and face our challenges head on because no one will do it for us”- Tycoo SA.

Going from one milestone to the other; Tycoo has worked with big names in the industry and shared stages with the elite at big festivals across the country, as well as securing interviews on several platforms; they keep taking it up a notch, making their craft marketable with a perfect understanding of the industry business. The duo have shared the stage with the likes of Speedy, Arthur, Brickz, Pro, Kelly khumalo, Zola, black coffee, kwesta, AkA, Black Motion and many more at events like the Thulamahashe Festival, Miss Turf, Mapungube Festival and others alike. They’ve been invited to countless Radio Stations, TV Stations and have been featured on several National Newspapers.

They try their best to give back to the community by being involved in different projects which range from donating sanitary pads, to advising the next generation on how to work hardtowards their dreams. “kwaito music is our calling and we plan to make use of our talent to show the world at large, how awesome the genre is”. Tycoo is here to stay and they plan on dominating the music business for a very long time to come.
