Johannesburg based musician, Sonnyboy Micheal Makhutla aka Sv McCutler is on the rise as one of the most versatile hip hop artist to ever come out of South Africa, mostly known for telling unique stories and manipulating content on his songs. McCutler adopted this industry at a very young age, but only started pushing and working on his dreams in the year 2014. His aim in the music industry is to inspire and motivate his audience whilst offering them some captivating entertainment.

His experience in the industry has groomed and morphed him into a young Industry professional. Among his long list of accolades, Sv was a finalist in the Smirnoff 1818 Hip Hop show 2015, he did an appearance on ETV "MVP Jam tv show" which was hosted by Dineo Ranaka. Most people got notice of his work after he shared the stage with US based Dj, Dj Supernova, that's when he later got his song playlisted on one of the biggest radio stations in the country, YFM, which became a huge talk in the streets of Gauteng.

Sv McCutler has teamed up with Emmygees Production to release his first official single entitled “Hunnid” which has been making noises since the 23rd of October 2020. The song has had a positive impact on the public, Sv and his team have done extensive work in promoting it and getting it played in a couple of radio stations such as Alex FM and Sedibeng FM.

When Mc Cutler wrote the song 'Hunnid', he was inspired by his life interaction with fake people who showed him fake love and support towards his dreams and aspirations — in the song, he expresses his need to have genuine people around him. He is inspiring people to keep their level of honesty and loyalty at 100%. The song draws inspiration from various talented and influential Mc’s such as Big Sean, Reason and HHP — it is a combination of well written lyrics that are sure to knock a head or two.
