Gunner47 Bangz has just dropped his first album entitled "Nelly's Son", which follows his well known mixtape entitled "2 Way Story" which made a great impact during the county's Lockdown. Nelly's Son is his latest project — officially released on the 20th of September 2020 — on his mom's birthday. This project stands as a birthday gift from Gunner47 to his mom. Question and Answer interview with Gunner47 Bangz (Q & A)

1. Who are you, and what do you represent?
A. I’m Akanani Berly Mkhombo, known by my stage name 'Gunner47 Bangz'. I represent the 015 YNDT straight from Tzaneen Nk2.

2. What is the meaning behind the title of your album?
A.The meaning behind the album's title is "Appreciation" , I named it after my mom's name, to show appreciation and also to celebrate being her son. “Nelly’s Son”is the title of the album, and it dropped on my mom's birthday.

3. How can you describe the type of your sound to any potential new fan?
A. My sound is a fusion of Rap, trap and Rnb. I accommodate everyone, so if you enjoy all genres then you met the perfect artist.

4. How has the reaction been since you dropped the album?
A. It has been crazy I can say, I've just been receiving love from; the public, my friends, family including my mom who can't stop talking about it even now.

5. What's your favorite song or songs in the album, lyrical highlights and why?
A. I can't really say I have a favorite song, because all the songs are my favourites, as I wrote each of them in different times and different. If I had to choose 1 I'd go with track 7 ~ which is Left Unsaid.

6. Who produced the project and what kind of input did they have in making it?
A. F R I E Z A, Yung Pelo & Asapt Beats played a big role in perfecting this project. Yung Pelo and I had the most input in making this album great.

7. Any theme of mood you were trying to capture when you made this project?
A. I captured a roller coaster mood, I wanted people to enjoy this ride to the fullest, hence I offered a variety of sounds and styles.

8. What's your favorite part about working on this project
A. My favorite part is being able to work with my team YNDT, which consists of Mr Saint, Yung Pelo & Gift Malik; and Also working with these artists ~ Slick Bastard, VR Insidious & Lee Mash. We all came together to give people a variety of great sounds...after all, we're all driven by the passion, hence you feel the hunger in every artist I worked with.

9. Is your family musical? How did they feel when they first heard your song?
A. My family actually loves music; starting from my Mom, Sister, Brother ~ they’ve all been showing support since they found out I Rap in early 2015 so their love & support has always been there which is something that motivates me & my hustle & this being my 1st ever album you can most definitely guarantee this the start🚀.
